Hurricane Michael Colors the Gulf

The northeastern Gulf of Mexico shows the aftereffects of the passage of Hurricane Michael on October 10, 2018. The waters along the Florida coast are colored by storm runoff, sediment resuspension, and enhanced phytoplankton growth in this Aqua/MODIS image collected on October 13, 2018.
