There was a data outage on the aqua beginning on Sunday, 16 August 202  (DOY 229) at 10:23 UTC the ground system started receiving corrupted data from the Aqua spacecraft. Unfortunately some of the data was not recoverable.
Also there is an 18-day gap when the spacecraft was in a safe hold until:

Yes we are waiting for the refined SST data.
The Aqua gap is 2020-08-16 <-> 2020-09-02.

There will be no new QL data published until at least 2020-09-18 when we get the refined SST and process 2020-09-02.

We are looking into the issue, a few pointers would be choosing a specific mission and or type in your case selecting the level3 smi option from the web interface would help or if you are using command line dtype=L3m and sensor=Seawifs.

I was able to create all of the subscriptions. Try clearing your cache and creating the subscription.

The below link will take you to a different ordering system where you do not have to login.  Since you are extracting data to the region there is an option that gives you the file links.

Yes you were banned for to many failures.  We had some server changes yesterday that was causing the issues (VIIRS is now VIIRS-SNPP).

Our data provider is experiencing problems that is preventing us from accessing the data.
When our access is restored your subscription will resume.

There are limits imposed on data access, but these are reasonable limits and are only designed to prevent DDOS attacks on our systems.
If you have multiple systems behind a single firewall, and all attempt to connect to our systems at the same time, this can exceed the
imposed limits.  If this is not the case, and you are accessing from a single system, if you have any "download accelerators" in use, or
spawn a lot of simultaneous processes, this too can exceed the limits. was blocked yesterday for triggering too many errors on
the web server. The ips were automatically released from the block
list at 5am this morning.
Your ip was blocked for causing to many errors.  It is now unblocked.
The system admin team have manually unblocked this morning. has been automatically blocked every day for the past four(4) days.

It looks like the client is opening up 20 connections to download random parts of every single file they request. This multipart
download is causing many "206" error codes which are triggering the temporary blocks.  Multipart client downloads put extra load on our
system and are considered unnecessary. We do not limit the download throughput of the client. I would suggest not using any download
accelerators and download the files serially, one file at a time using a single connection.

wget -c

If the client script is still causing errors our system will automatically block the ip again.
Jacques this was the response I received from the network admin.  I will ask the admins to check again.
The ip address, , was automatically blocked on 21
August and 22 August for generating too many errors on the web
servers. Errors could be generated by looking for files that do not
exist to downloading too many current times leading to spurious error
503's. An error is a code other than a 200, 301, and 304.

The automated block list is cleared every 5am EST5EDT.

As of today, is not currently blocked.
