for a bug that has just started affecting all of our VIIRS processing.

As always, timing is bad on this issue.  I will be out of the office for a week
starting this afternoon.  Hopefully the bug gets fixed soon, and the automated
generation of images in this directory will resume without a hitch.  If not,
I plan to be back in the office on Monday, January 27, 2020 at which point
I can see what needs to be done.
