SeaDAS Benchmarks

The following benchmarks were calculated using the seadas_benchmarks.bash script. This script processes the MODIS Aqua Level-1A 5 minute granule A2006167181000.L1A_LAC from Level-1A through to Level-3. This data file and script are available from our ftp site in the seadas_benchmarks.tar.gz file. The script calculates both the CPU times (user+sys) and wall clock times (real) required for each of the following processing steps:
If you perform benchmarks, please email the results (including machine, CPU, RAM, OS, and kernel info) to seadas@seadas.gsfc.nasa.gov for inclusion in this table.

All times are in seconds and are indicated in [cpu time] / [wall clock time] order.
