Generate L1A file from L0 file (l1agen_seawifs)

for HRPT stations, since NO Level-0 data will be archived and distributed
by the Goddard DAAC. See additional information on navigation
files which must be kept up-to-date.

the Select button to display the File Selection Widget.

step will be listed in Input listfile window. The files contained
in the listfile will be scanned for certain default information to be displayed inside the Options
for l3bin window.

Update, if necessary, the information
in the Options for l3bin window.

Warp the image:
-
click the Warping button
in the Scroll Window Widget to display the Warp Image
Widget.
-
move the cursor inside the image
displayed in the Scroll Window Widget, press (don't release)
the mouse left button to define the first control point and drag to another
position and release the mouse button to define the second point; repeat
on this to define several control point pairs.
-
click the Undo button
in the Warp Image Widget will clear the last defined control
point pair.
-
click the On/Off button
in the Warp Image Widget to toggle the display of the control
points on/off.
-
click the Warped Image
button in the Warp Image Widget to display the warped image
defined by the control points.
-
click the Original Image
button in the Warp Image Widget to display the original image.
-
click the Save to file
button to save the warped image to a new file.
-
Zoom the image:
-
click the Zoom button
in the Register Main Widget to open the Zoom Window
Widget .
-
move the cursor inside the image
displayed in the Scroll Window Widget or the Register
Window Widget and click the mouse middle button, the image centered
at the cursor location will be zoomed and displayed in the Zoom Window
Widget.
-
Click the Quit button
to quit this program.

L2
display and reprocess (l2chk)
Interactive
mode:
-
Start the L2chk Main Widget:
-
in menu mode, select Display
-> l2chk from the SeaDAS main menu, OR
-
in command mode, enter l2chk.
-
Enter '$SDSDEMO/L2_gac1.hdf'
in the Input L2 file field.
-
Press Enter key when
the cursor is in the Input L2 file field,
OR, click the Load
button at the top-right of the widget to load the data and display the
image (the first one loaded) of the selected L2 product in the Image
and Flags Display Widget.
-
If you want to change the default
L2 products (nLw_443, nLw_555, chlor_a) to be loaded and worked on, use
the Set up Product List button to do so.
-
If you want to change the L2
product to be displayed, use the L2 Product drop down menu to select
the L2 product you want to display.
-
Manipulate flag displaying:
-
in the L2chk Main Widget,
update, if necessary, the flag(s) to be displayed in the One Flag
and Multiple Flags fields by dragging the slide bar next to the
One
Flag field or by pressing the toggle button in the flag listing window.
-
in the Level-2 Image and
Flags Display Widget, press the
Flag Control button and
select:
-
Load Default flags to
display all the default flags listed in the Default flags field in the
L2chk
Main Widget.
-
Load one flag to append
the flag selected in the One Flag field in the L2chk Main
Widget to the current display.
-
Load multiple flags to
display all the flags listed in the Multiple Flags field in the
L2chk
Main Widget.
-
Load all flags to display
all the flags.
-
Toggle flags off to turn
off all the flags currently displayed.
-
Toggle flags on to turn
on all the flags currently displayed.
-
Quick flag on/off loop
to turn on/off the currently displayed flags several times.
-
Clear all flags to redisplay
the selected L2 product without any flags.
-
Define the rectangular area
for reprocessing:
-
move the cursor inside the image
display window in the Level-2 Image and Flags Display Widget;
press and drag the mouse Right button to resize the rectangular area, or
press and drag the mouse Left button to move the highlighted rectangular
box to the area for reprocessing.
-
click the Reprocess button
to display the Reprocess Set Up Widget.
-
update the input parameters
under the New column and then click the Go button to start
the L2 reprocess on the area defined by the rectangular box.
-
When it finished, the Reprocess
Display Window Widget will be displayed for you to compare the
products and flags between the original one and the new one.
-
Animate the products and flags
display:
-
click the Animation button
in the L2chk Main Widget to display the Animation Set
Up Widget.
-
update the starting pixel/line
in the Image offset field or click the Load Current button
for animation.
-
select the frames by toggle
the Frame number button for animation.
-
update the frame information,
if necessary, for product and/or flags to be animated.
-
Click the Quit button
to quit this program.
