Description:
The Save Color Table Widget provides the capability of saving a
color LUT to either an ASCII file or as a palette in an HDF file.
The procedure will take the colors allocated to the data portion of the
SeaDAS color table and interpolate them across 256 output RGB values.
The Load Color Table procedure performs the inverse process and scales
an input color table of 256 values into the data portion of the SeaDAS
color table.
Note: A saved color table might not be exactly the same as an input color table.
Action items:
| Color Table Number | The number of the concurrent color table to load into. | ||||
| Flags | The
flags entries allow the user to specify a range of color indices from both
the top and bottom of the color table to be output directly, without any
interpolation. This is useful if flags or masks are assigned to specific
indices.
|
||||
| ASCII LUT File | Specify that the output file is to be an ASCII file. | ||||
| HDF File | Specify that the output file is to be a palette in an HDF file. | ||||
| Filename | The filename for the output ASCII or HDF file. If the file is a pre-existing HDF file, press the <RETURN> key to load the existing palettes in that file. | ||||
| Select | Select the output ASCII or HDF file interactively. | ||||
| Color Palettes in Current HDF File | A listing of the current color palettes in the selected HDF file, if it already exists. | ||||
| Append | Append the new color table to the existing HDF file. | ||||
| Replace | Replace the highlighted color palette with the new color palette. | ||||
| Delete All & Append | Delete all existing color palettes found in the HDF file and add the new color palette to the file. | ||||
| Quit | Destroy the Save Color Table Widget. | ||||
| Help | Show online help in HTML viewer. |
