Seadisp Bathymetry Image Generation Function (bathyimg)

Description:  The SEADISP Bathymetry Image Generation Widget provides the capability of generating the bathymetry image for a user defined gridded area or a satellite image that has been loaded into the band memory. The world bathymetry data file 'BATHY.DAT' (under $SEADAS/data directory) in 2 minutes resolution is used to create the bathymetry image.

Command Mode:

Usage: bathyimg, band=band
   OR   bathyimg, dims=dims, limits=limits

Arguments/Keywords:
band The band number that specifies the image areas the bathymetry image to be created is based on.
dims The x and y dimension specified by the user for the bathymetry image to be created.
limits The north, south, west, and east boundary for the bathymetry image to be created.

Interactive Mode:

This widget can be activated by selecting Functions->Generate Bathymetry Image in the Seadisp Main Menu.

Input items:
Band number The areas covered by the image corresponding to the selected band number in the Band List Selection Widget will be used to create the bathymetry image.
Output image size (X/Y) The X/Y size for the output gridded bathymetry image.
Latitude range (North/South)  The north and south boundary for the output gridded bathymetry image.
Longitude range (West/East) The west and east boundary for the output gridded bathymetry image.

Action items:
Bathymetry image option  Choose the option of the bathymetry image to be created based on the user defined gridded area or an image that has been loaded into the band memory.
Quit Close the SEADISP Scatter Plot Widget.
Okay Generate the bathymetry image and the result will be added into the Band List Selection Widget to be selected for display.
