Band List Selection Widget

Description:  The Band List Selection Widget shows the list of data products currently read into memory and available for display. New data products can be added to or deleted from this list at any time. The original raw data as stored in the physical file is always available in memory for reference or rescaling, it is not deleted upon imaging.

Note: There is no hard-coded limit to the number of files loaded into memory at one time or the number of data items displayed at one time. The only limit is the memory limit of your machine.

Interactive Mode:

Action Items:
Loaded Bands Listing Selecting a product in the band listing will show information about this product in the Current Product Information section. An item can also be selected in this list in order to mark for deletion or display.
Delete Delete the selected data product and all associated attribute information from memory.
Display Controls
LUT no. The number of the concurrent color table to use for display.  This field will contain all concurrent color table numbers. To add a new color table, select New in the list.
Window  Select a window occurrence number for display. This field will contain all displayed window numbers plus the next available unused window number.  The next available unused window number will always be presented.  Modify this entry to redisplay in an existing window.
Quit Destroy band widget.
Help Show on-line help for this widget in an HTML viewer.
Band Info Display current information on the selected band.  Information includes sections on:
  • Origination File Information
  • Navigation Information
  • Data Information
  • Raw to Geophysical Scaling information
  • Default Display information
Display Display the currently selected band list data item in the specified display window number.  As many windows can be displayed concurrently as memory allows.

Informational Items:
Dimensions The dimensions of the currently selected data array (columns x rows).
Raw Min/Max The data min/max of the data as physically stored in the data file.
Slp/Intercept  The slope and intercept associated with the stored physical data in order to convert it to geo-physical values.  If slope and intercept do not exist for the band selected, then they will appear as slope=1.0 and intercept = 0.0.
Scale Type The scaling type associated with converting the data as stored in the physical file to geo-physical values. The possible scale types are LINEAR or LOG.
Geo Min/Max The corresponding geo-physical values for the raw data min/max using the specified slope, intercept and scale type.
Geo Units The units associated with the geo-physical data.  If the data does not contain geo-physical conversion information, but does contain unit information, then this unit information will appear here.
