Description: The Multi-Band Data Widget provides a capability of viewing a point of data across multiple loaded data bands. Only one of the loaded bands needs to be displayed in order for the function to operate. Moving the cursor in any displayed image window or zoom window will cause the raw and geophysical data values for all specified bands to be updated. It only makes sense to view bands which have the same dimensions and navigation types, since the routine views data by pixel/line location. The multi-band data view function can be activated by selecting Function->Multiple Bands Data Display in the Main Seadisp Widget.
Three display options can be selected:
| Geo data view | Display mutilple band data values with moving cursor positions. (screen shot) |
| Geo data line plot | Show line plot for mutiple band spectrum (need wavelength SD for each product). (screen shot) |
| Geo data bar chart | Show bar chart for mutiple band data levels. (screen shot) |
Note: In order to obtain bi-directional point location capability across multiple bands, open the Read function at the same time as the Multiple Bands Data Display function. Entering a lat/lon coordinate in the Read widget will cause the cursor to move to that location and the Multiple Bands Data Display Widget to update.
Action items:
| Update | Update the current band list with any bands that have been added or deleted. |
| Band List Selection | Specify the bands for data viewing. (Default is to display values for all loaded bands). |
| Quit | Close the Multiple Band Data Display Widget. |
Informational items:
| Pixel/Line | The pixel and line number of the point, with the upper left-hand corner of the image being pixel/line (1,1). Note: When the cursor is in the zoom window, the pixel/line shown is still relative to the full-resolution display window, not to the zoom window. |
| Lat/Lon | The latitude/longitude value at the cursor location. For data which do not contain navigation information, this will appear as N/A. |
| Raw Data | The corresponding raw data value in the corresponding band data. |
| Geo Data | The geophysical data value of the point, converting from raw band data values to geophysical data values using the slope, intercept and scale type band information as shown in the Current Product Information section of the Band List Selection Widget. |
