Color Table Configuration Widget

Notes: Individual color tables are only used for the data portion of any displayed image.  The graphics colors are shared across all color tables.  Also note that when Apply is pressed, any existing color palettes will automatically be rescaled to fit within the new ranges (mask values, such as for SeaWiFS Browse products will be preserved).  The general display program will also automatically rescale any currently displayed images to fit the new color ranges.  However, images displayed with programs other than the general display program, will need to be redisplayed in order to pick up the new color table(s).

Actions:

No. of concurrent tables	The number of concurrent color tables in the current SeaDAS session.  Selecting a new number will compute the new color index ranges for each color table.  These will not take effect until Apply is pressed.
Preserve default range	This toggle indicates whether or not to preserve the first color table range when changing the number of concurrent color tables. The first color table is the default color table used by many SeaDAS programs.
Color Table Index Ranges	The starting and ending color index values for each concurrent color table. For convenience, these values will be automatically calculated if No. of concurrent tables is modified.  However, you can also modify the ranges individually if required.
Apply	Apply the new color table index ranges to the color palette.  Existing color palettes will be automatically rescaled into their new ranges.  In the case of the general display program, existing images will be redisplayed with the new scalings in order to match the new color table ranges.  Images which are displayed with SeaDAS programs other than the general display program, will have to be redisplayed in order to match the new color table ranges.
Help	Bring up hypertext help in either netscape or mosaic HTML viewers.
Quit	Exit the Color Table Configuration Widget.

Informational items:

Full session range	The total color range available for your current SeaDAS session.  This is the range available for displaying data.  Graphics colors, foreground color and background color are reserved outside of this range.
(default)	The first color table is the default color table used throughout SeaDAS programs.
