Hello,

There are holes in the time series of most recent AQUA ocean color data.
ftp://oceans.gsfc.nasa.gov/Recent_Aqua/

For day 2004088, at least granules from 11h10 to 12h00 are missing.
For day 2004089, granules from 07h00 to 07h50, from 08h35 to 0925, from 10h15 to 11h05, from 13h35 to 14h25, from 16h50 to 17h40 and from 20h10 to 21h00 are missing.
For day 200490, granules from 11h00 to 11h50, from 17h35 to 18h25 and from 20h55 to 21h45 are missing.

However, these granules are available through the L1 and L2 browser
http://oceancolor.gsfc.nasa.gov/cgi/browse.pl?per=DAY&day=12506&sub=level3&prm=CHL&set=10&ndx=0&mon=12449&sen=am

Will you fill the gaps on the ftp server ?

With best regards,
François Petitcolin

Please forget my message. I just figured out that gaps are the shadowed part of the orbits.

Sorry.
François
