Hello,

I would like to download the VIIRS Ocean Color L2 granules you produce (the same ones that can be downloaded "by hand" from your Level 2 browser, i.e. V*.L2_NPP_OC)
by means of a script using wget. Is the procedure similar to the one already in use for MODIS (wget  ftp://oceans.gsfc.nasa.gov/subscriptions/directory_name)/ to get the list of the files, and then for each new file wget http://oceandata.sci.gsfc.nasa.gov/cgi/getfile/my_newfile) ? If yes, could you give me the name of the subscription directory for VIIRS day data (for MODIS Aqua, the name is 1001) ?
By the way, do you also provide SST products (nighttime) ?

All of our viirs products are visible from here:

  http://oceandata.sci.gsfc.nasa.gov/VIIRS/

We are not producing any SST products from VIIRS, and we have no plans to do so.  They are/will be available from NOAA.  See Norman's message here:
