Hello,

I am trying run and evaluate L2bin spatial /L3 temporal binning. Using the GUI Level-2 Binning Program, I receive an output message of:

'sh: sdsbatch: not found'

I have read http://oceancolor.gsfc.nasa.gov/forum/oceancolor/topic_show.pl?tid=2344,

However I am unsure on how to proceed with shell path, etc.

Thank you for your assistance!

Tyson,

If you have installed SeaDAS properly, and sourced the $SEADAS/config/seadas.env file,
your path environment should be set correctly.   Your PATH environment variable should
include (the expansion of) $SEADAS/run/scripts, which is where sdsbatch is located.

To see what you PATH variable is set to, from a command line run:
printenv PATH

Sean, thank you for the help!

I had full functionality, once I realized csh was not installed properly.

After installing csh, as per bullet #6 on 'Installation Notes';  http://seadas.gsfc.nasa.gov/how_to_install.html

I then sourced $SEADAS/config/seadas.env file

This allowed me to run l2bin, create appropriate textfile, and continue to l3bin/smigen.

I realize csh was to be installed before SEADAS. While I seem to have full functionality, does a reversal of installation cause any known errors?

Thanks again,

Tyson
