When I try to calculate chl_oc4 as a product using l2gen, I get a message at the end of processing:
"chl_oc4: algorithm coefficients not provided for this sensor"
The resulting L2 file is junk. If chl_oc4 is left out, everything works fine.
Any ideas?

MODIS.
chl_oc4 works fine with SeaWiFS files.

OC4 isn't valid for MODIS. See
http://oceancolor.gsfc.nasa.gov/REPROCESSING/R2009/ocv6/
for a comparison
of the various OC algorithm flavors and compatible sensors.
