Dear support,

I'm using  climatology and  monthly SST data from TERRA.
I thought the quality assessment for SST products was based on the daily Reynolds OISST at 0.25-deg of resolution.
However, it seems, according to what wrote Bryan on 2010-03-03 (post:"MODIS SST and MODIS OC Reprocessing")  that  SSTs haven't been reprocessed yet.  The processing date appearing on the header of the hdf files seems to confirm that.

Can you confirm me if the TERRA and AQUA SST data are still processed using the weekly 1-deg Reynolds OISST?

Thank you,

Francois

Yes.  The SST have not been reprocessed, so we have not switched to the 0.25deg daily Reynolds files for it yet.
The products we currently distribute still use the weekly OISST product as input.

Regards,
Sean
