Suresh -

It could have been a temporary communications failure; have you tried again?
Have you verified that /home/suresh/seadas6.0/var/modis/atteph/ exists, and that you can write to it?

You're using a very old version of SeaDAS.  Though it should have worked, you might consider upgrading to the newest version.  See http://oceancolor.gsfc.nasa.gov/forum/oceancolor/topic_show.pl?tid=4102

i have been verified /home/suresh/seadas6.0/var/modis/atteph/  is already exist...but when i process, it wont downloading atteph file automatically...i am using Fedora 14( 32 bit)...i have given FTP connection in root directory...

i want to know,

      where and all i need to give FTP connection to download these atteph files automatically...

In seadas GUI,

       i have tryied to update modis_update_utcpole_leapsec.csh ....its working fine...

but

ftp://oceans.gsfc.nasa.gov/MODIST/CAL/ is not connecting....
