Hi there,
I am new to SeaDAS and was trying to open a few .hdf files. Afer installing SeaDAS 6.2, I have tried to access the hdf files using "display" menu from SeaDAS main menu. But I can not reach my folder through the SeaDAS  directories & subdirectories. Could you please let me know which path should I provide in order to import the hdf file in SeaDAS?

Say for example, I have my HDF files saved in a folder "HDF" which is on my Desktop.

Appreciate your help in advance.

Thanks,
A

The left side of the file selection window (below the filter options) has a listing of directories,
the top one is '../' which allows you to navigate up the directory tree from the location under
which SeaDAS was launched.  You can thus navigate through the entire file system.

An easier method would be to launch SeaDAS from the directory in which the files you wish
to load reside (by default, SeaDAS' working directory is directory from which it is launched).

Regards,
Sean

Hi Sean,
When I projected MODIS data using bl2map (using Transverse Mercator) in SeaDAS and imported the projected file in ArcGIS, it's still missing spatial reference, i.e. it was not projected. Any suggestions?
