What current empirical/statistical expression is used to calculate standard product of Kd490 through nLw(MODIS-Aqua bands)?

Hi Slava,

The operational Kd(490) algorithm for MODIS-Aqua is KD2M. See http://oceancolor.gsfc.nasa.gov/ANALYSIS/kdv4/. Note, the algorithm uses Rrs(488) and Rrs(547).
