Hi,

I could not find any information on use conditions for MODIS data in the forum. Are they freely available for any non-commercial purposes, or are there special conditions that I should be aware of?

Hi Andy,

Yes, the MODIS data are freely available to the world
compliments of the American tax payer. There are
some restrictions on SeaWiFS data however, because
of contractual obligations that NASA has with GeoEye.
