When I try to run L0 files downloaded from LAADS to L1A using Seadas 5.4 I get an 'Unable to determine platform from filename' error from modis_L0_to_L1A_GEO.csh.

Files:  MOD00F.A2008300.1730.20083001823.001.PDS   and    MYD00F.A2008307.1915.20083072021.001.PDS

If I remove the 'F' from the file name for the Terra file (file name now reads MOD00.A*, the file is read and it seems to process fine.  However, when I try this with an Aqua file (file name now reads MYD00.A*)  Seadas identifies the platform as Terra and processes accordingly.  I prefer to use LAADS to download L0 files, so any help you can provide with this issue would be appreciated.

Thank you,
Chris

I've added the new filename pattern to modis_L0_to_L1A_GEO.csh. To install, please download the attachment and execute the following command:

  mv -f modis_L0_to_L1A_GEO.csh $SEADAS/scripts

Attachment: modis_L0_to_L1A_GEO.csh (36.4k)

Mike,

Thank you for editing the script.  It works great now.

Thank you,
Chris
