I wonder if you have to insert a bathymetry into an image MODIS 1km processed by the seadas? How do I generate the bathymetry and unite with the image? Or would generate in own image?
thanks

Take a look at the
FAQ and let us know if you have any questions.
Hello, thanks mike. I could generate the contours and save on asc, however, I would plot the bathymetric contours in an image. "LAC".
I tried to do with the fuctions distinctions based overlay vector and showed the following error:
Getting - "nLw_551" data from HDF file ...
Returned from SDP_WR_FLAT: SDP_WR_FLAT: No output file selected.
726060 wrote A2002204161500_Bathymetry_image_ date points to file _nLw_551.asc-in format: (8 (F10.3))
VECTOR: Error. Date to be overlayed in window # 1 must be a regular grid.
where am I missing?
extract the bathymetry of the same image that I want to plot the contours ...
thank you

I'm not exactly sure what you're trying to do. Are you trying to save bathymetry contours and then redraw them on an image? If so, then I think you may want to save the contour graphics and then load them on another image. To do this, first create the bathymetry contour lines (based on the LAC band), and then use Functions->Graphics->Save to save the contour graphics as a graphics hdf file. Then you can reload these graphics on other images you display using Functions->Graphics->Load. Remember that to load graphics the display window must have the exact same dimensions (and often the same navigation info) as the band that was used to create the contours.
Also, an interactive way to place contour graphics you create on another display window is to use Functions->Graphics->Copy.
Let me know if this doesn't accomplish what you're trying to do..
yes, that is what I wanted to do. thank you again!
I'm having some bugs with the SEADaS, but it ask the appropriate topic.
