Hi,

Is there a preferred acknowledgement for using MODIS and SeaWiFS data obtained from http://oceancolor.gsfc.nasa.gov/ ? In text, is it appropriate to point to the ocean color web homepage after mentioning the data set (e.g. SeaWiFS L2 data were obtained from the Ocean Colour Website [http://ocean...])?

Can you provide an "Example Acknowledgment" which can be included in a paragraph at the end of an article, before the reference list?
Just like this :"The .... data were obtained from the ...(orgnization) at the ...  http://..."

Perhaps this could be a FAQ.

Regards,
Gary
