I ran across this error with SeaDAS 6.3 running on Mac OS-X 10.6.8 with the embedded version of SeaDAS.  I was simply displaying an L2 file and tried to apply a landmask using the GUI function.  I had no problem doing this with SeaDAS 6.2.  I downloaded the appropriate Python and ActiveTcl8.5.11.1 programs as recommended.

Antonio,

First, I have no idea why you need ActiveTcl8.5.11.1 - nothing in SeaDAS needs it and not a single post on this form (save this one) mentions it.
So, I'll ignore that part :-)

As for the landmask issue with the embedded IDL license, I can confirm it exists.  It is not a problem with the full version (at least not on my Mac system).

We are feverishly trying to put together an update for SeaDAS 6 (to address the recent Aqua reprocessing...).  We'll will see if we can resolve this problem
with the impending release.

Sean
