hi,bryan

Firstly,
the filename of the aerosol LUTs,such as "aerosol_modisa_r30f01v01.hdf",I know the "r30" means "relative humidity is 30% ",but  what does the "f01v01"means?

besides,
Is the information provided in the LUTs are used to caculate diffuse transmittance and epsilon? how to use these parameters to retrieve them?
Is there any reference DOC for this?

Last,
I get to know that there is a thransfer coefficience between the single scattering reflectance and the multiscattering reflectance from some papers on atmospheric correction,
and the coefficience should be  in the LUTs,but I donnot know how does it works.

can you give some advices, especially some reference documents on study of the aerosol models and LUTs?
thanks in advance,I will appreciate it too much

f01 = fine-mode-fraction 1%, v01 = version 1.

The retrieval methods are described in gordon & wang 1994.  The current LUTs are in ahmad et al. 2010.

Howard R. Gordon and Menghua Wang, "Retrieval of water-leaving radiance and aerosol optical thickness over the oceans with SeaWiFS: a preliminary algorithm," Appl. Opt. 33, 443-452 (1994)

Holben, "New aerosol models for the retrieval of aerosol optical thickness and normalized water-leaving radiances from the SeaWiFS and MODIS sensors over coastal regions and open oceans," Appl. Opt. 49, 5545-5560 (2010)
