What is 8D_Climatology in MODIS Aqua SST4 products

I am using MODIS Aqua weekly data products for SST_4 parameter and publishing them in a website from a regional organisation.
Now I want to produce SST anamoly but I need 8D_Climatology for 10 - 15 years.

Can it be possible for me to use 8d_Climatology available in MODIS Aqua folder for generating 8D_SST anamoly?

Short answer is yes.

The 8D climatology files are climatologies of the same 8 day period for each year included in the file.
The filename indicates the year range. For example:
A20021852007192.L3b_WC_SST4.main
includes day 185 - 192 for years 2002 thru 2007
