Is there a way to subset over time, the same way we can do a region - i.e. say all L2 data within a certain lat long bound between 14 april and 22 may 2003?
With aqua data, i got the entire dataset, was able to choose the scenes i wanted by pointing and selecting.  i was able to select seawifs mlac data the same way although i later figured out that gene's email said that only 1997 was currently available.   but i am not able to get any data for seawifs.

thanks

Hi Ajit,

Currently the only way to restrict an order to a specific
time period is to click on either a day, octave, month, or
year hyperlink in the calendars below the global map
before you perform your search.  The results of your search
will then be restricted (in a geographically determined data-day
sense) to the time period indicated over the global map.

One of the things on my to do list is to provide a more
customized time period selection to users of the level 1
and 2 browser.  You are the second person I have heard this
request from, so the priority of that task just got nudged a bit
higher.

As for your inability to get any SeaWiFS data via the
browser, I would say, "Please try again."  All of the
GAC data are available (if you are authorized or if the data
were collected more than five years ago), but the MLAC
are still being processed.  Make sure that you are searching the
early part of the mission (1997 say) if you want MLAC.

Let me know if you are still having problems.

Norman
