If you mean the HDF browse files that are displayed by
http://oceancolor.gsfc.nasa.gov/cgi/browse.pl , then the
answer is that those files are not available for download.

If you just want the browse images without the rest of the
browser page, you could use URL's like the following.

http://oceancolor.gsfc.nasa.gov/cgi/browse.pl?sub=l12image&file=A2010308211500.L1A_LAC_BRS
http://oceancolor.gsfc.nasa.gov/cgi/browse.pl?sub=l12image&file=A2010308211500.L2_LAC_OC_CHLOR_A_BRS

I am interested in the browse images for which you provided the URLs.
Is there a method to make a list of the names of the scenes which cover my area of interest?
Using such a list I could write a script which downloads them all.

You can use the level-1 and -2 browse interface to generate
the list you seek.  See the following in the help pages.
