Hi all

I want to get an raster layer that contains the Geophysical information and can be read and write in ArcMap9.3. I have tried so many ways such as conversion tools in ArcToolBox (converte .asc file to ArcGIS raster) and Marine Geospatial Ecology Tools(Converte .hdf file to ArcGIS raster). But none of them are working!

Recently I find out an way to get the Geophysical data of sst in GeoTiff file (http://coastwatch.noaa.gov/images/ArcGIS_GeoTIFF2GRID-1.pdf) I wonder are there more equations that works for nlw, cholropyll a concentration.

In short: I want get the Geophysical data or Raw data of Cholorphyll a concentration, sst, sst4 and nlwxxx converted form RGB band in GeoTiff File.

P.S.
The images are L2 images with 250m resolution and processed from L1A MODIS's data

Hey Bence,
Did you solve this problem? If not, try GDAL (http://fwtools.maptools.org/) - the gdal_warp function should do the trick. Be careful though, you might find you want to convert from ESRI to open source altogether!
