I have a set of SeaWifs L1A MLAC extracted files for my geographical area which were downloaded prior to the 2009 reprocessing.
I understand I will have to reorder MODIS L1A MLAC files after the reprocessing is complete.
Do I need to replace my SeaWifs L1A MLAC extracted files?

Thanks,
Teresa

Teresa,

No, the SeaWiFS L1A data did not change.

You also should not need  to re-download the MODIS-Aqua L1A data unless you wish to take advantage
of the restored 250- and 500-meter resolution data.  The L2 processing code will still process the
MODIS L1A subset data files we distributed prior to this reprocessing.  However, you will not be
able to retrieve par (photosynthetically available radiation), or Rrs for 469, 555 and 645 nm

Regards,
Sean
